LABOUR SUPPORT SERVICES - FLYING COLOURS is the only refurbishment operator to offer skilled painting labour to airlines, MRO's and other aircraft refurbishment facilities for short or long term periods, Australia wide and Internationally. Painting aircraft is our core business so we are in a unique position to provide experienced and skilled aircraft surface refinishers.

We can provide Paint Project Teams from delivery to redelivery or if you are experiencing a busy workload and need experienced personnel we can work under the direction and supervision of your existing paint manager.

We have a flexible approach to each project request from paint strip or paint application only, paint repairs, scheme application - the choice is yours.

Our staff are able to adapt to any working environment, provide their own P.P.E. and equipment/tooling needed to carry out the work.

REFINISHING TRAINING is available to major and minor maintenance service providers including airlines, defence and defence prime contractors who may have a small number of in-house painters that carry out painting but whose skills and techniques may need some refining or updating. Training is carried out at the operator�s facility and is tailored to meet each individuals needs.

ON SITE SERVICES - securing a paint slot at a paint facility is sometimes easier said than done. An ideal alternative for some operators would be to have their paint needs carried out in their own facility, nice thought, however this scenario soon conjures up all sorts of environmental and OH&S issues, over spray on maintenance hangar floors and walls and on other aircraft and equipment, staff running to the hills when they see white overalls a spray gun and a whiff of paint..... It�s easy to understand why this option is very quickly dismissed.

FLYING COLOURS has supported airlines and private owners with on site painting services for many years. We have carried out strip/rub and repainting for many high profile airlines in their maintenance facility. We developed a specialised on site Environmental Management Plan and OH&S Safe Systems at work procedure manual, gained EPA approval for paint activities and are CASA approved to provide this specialised type of service.

Not all facilities are suitable for painting activities and site assessments are required to ensure compliance and control of environmental and health & safety.
